About WA’s Great Graze.

What is WA’s Great Graze all about?

The first WA’s Great Graze in April 2021 kicked off a new event concept to celebrate the amazing food and beverages in WA and thank our farmers, fishers and producers for everything that they do.  

Throughout many challenges faced our primary producers have been stolidly doing what they do best, growing and harvesting fresh, quality, safe produce for West Australian’s to eat. 

The Southern Forests Food Council represents the interests of local producers and culinary and agri-tourism operators who are lucky enough to call the Southern Forests their home. We love what we do, we love where we live, and we love the produce we grow, and we want to share this with as many people as we can, and we know we are not the only ones.

So, with a bit of creative thinking and collaboration across industry, the WA’s Great Graze was born, and will now celebrate its second campaign in March 2023.

WA’s Great Graze invites everyone in WA to celebrate WA agriculture by enjoying a farm-fresh grazing platter and local beverage. To bring this to life, we have brought together partners all over WA to join the program with something for everyone to enjoy at home, at an event or wherever you can find local food and beverages.
